CCNA Security (210-260 IINS)

  1. Attend all classes to satisfy the required education requirement.

  2. Register for a Cisco account.

  3. Review the skills measured by the 210-260 IINS exam

  4. Read the CCNA Security 210-260 Official Cert Guide and complete the chapter exercises, assessment quizzes, written labs, and review questions.

  5. Complete the CCNA Security practice labs.

  6. Practice your new knowledge and skills. Access Cisco DevNet Sandbox – technology packed free Cisco labs.

  7. Watch Career Academy and Cisco online training videos to reinforce and retain the knowledge presented in the classroom.

  8. Review the exam preparation guide.

  9. Join a study group.

  10. Install the Pearson Cert Practice Test engine from the cd found in the back of CCNA Security 210-260 Official Cert Guide.

  11. Download, activate and take 210-260 IINS simulated practice exam.

  12. Study key terms and concepts with Kaplan flashcards. Log in to your theprofessional.me account, under Upcoming Classes or Current and Past Classes section,  scroll down to the desired course and click the hyperlink Practice Tests, then click the desired exam to access your Kaplan dashboard. From the dashboard, under the Practice section, click the Flashcards option.

  13. Take Kaplan simulated practice exams. Log in to your theprofessional.me account, under Upcoming Classes or Current and Past Classes section,  scroll down to the desired course and click the hyperlink Practice Tests, then click the desired exam to access your Kaplan dashboard. From the dashboard, under the Practice section, click the Exam Simulation option.

  14. Qualify for MicroTrain Exam Guarantee, within one (1) year from voucher start date, email two (2) practice exams results in the certification mode with a score of 90% or better to [email protected], and sit for certification exam within 30 days.  

  15. Review the CCNA Certification Exam Policies

  16. Locate a PearsonVue Testing Center near you

  17. Create a Pearson Vue Account and register for the CCNA Security (210-260 IINS) exam.

  18. Pass the CCNA Security (210-260 IINS) exam. The certification exam must be taken within 30 days of completing the course. The 210-260 IINS exam is 90 minutes long and consists of 60-70 multiple choice (single and multiple answer), drag-and-drop, simulations, simlets, and testlets. Upon completion of the exam, you will see the overall pass/fail test results. Cisco does not publish the passing score for its exams.

  19. Upload photocopy of certification results in your theprofessional.me account. Log in to your theprofessional.me account, click Get Certified in the navigation bar, then navigate to Exam 210-260: CCNA Security and click the hyperlink next to the Date, verify exam date, choose a file to upload, and record your results.
